Description of Issue:

The engine mounts in the Ferrari F430 and 360 will begin to degrade over time and collapse.  The rubber part of the mount begins to squish down and eventually the mount is no longer supporting the weight of the engine.  You may notice harder shifts that are slower, more vibration, and you can actually see the engine moving around significantly more than it should.  This can also lead to other issues if not taken care of in a reasonable time.  The mounts seem to last about 10 years or 20-30K miles.

Resolution if Known:

Replacing the engine mounts is a fairly simple process.  You have to remove the bottom panel to gain access to the underside of the engine.  From there, you will need to jack the engine itself up and support it.  There are 4 bolts at the corners that secure the engine mount to the chassis. There is 1 massive bolt in the center of the engine mount that connects to the engine.  You will need to remove all 5 bolts, 1 side at a time is best.  Then you jack the engine up a little more to give you the clearance necessary to remove and install the new mount.  You can optionally replace some of the bolts/nuts.  I would recommend at least replacing the large center bolt and nut as it's under a lot of torque so it can be messed up when being replaced.
