Vorsteiner forged aluminum bespoke wheels are made using T-6061 aerospace grade aluminum blocks and individually machined for a perfect fit. Because 6061 aluminum has a lower hardness strength than some other materials, the wheels are machined more easily and precisely. The lower tensile strength also makes the 6061 wheels easier to form than other aluminum alloys.
