The Consumer Motor Vehicle Recovery Corporation in California has a 1 year limitation for filing claims. CNC Motors ceased doing business on May 13, 2021. This means all CNC Motors victims need to file a claim with the CMVRC by May 13, 2022 otherwise they will be ineligible to receive any compensation through that organization. They offer up to $35,000 in compensation. This is NOT the DMV, so even if you have filed with the DMV, you need to also file with the CMVRC. http://cmvrc.org
