The Ferrari Club of San Antonio (Alamo Chapter) invited me to come participate in their “Drive Tanks” Memorial Day weekend. Once we arrived at Ox Ranch after some spirited driving, we first got to drive an actual Sherman M1 Tank!!! It was pretty crazy standing on the back of the tank while it drove around.

Next we went to the shooting range and got to shoot multiple different firearms including a 50 caliber machine gun, 20mm cannon, automatic shotgun and finally we got to fire the Sherman Tank’s 76mm main gun!

We wrapped up the Tank driving adventure by crushing a Porsche (Kia with Porsche badges taped on) with a Chiefton Tank!

Drive Tanks is amazing! You should plan a visit, it’s pretty incredible.
