I am remodeling my garage, and we already installed a Minisplit Air Conditioner which is helping a lot, but the garage doors are not insulated so we’re losing tons of cold air through the doors. In this video I install R-8 fiberglass insulation to the garage doors then I install a radiant barrier foam insulation used by NASA over the top of the fiberglass. This provides a really good insulation barrier and helps the Mini Split Air Conditioner keep the garage nice and cold in the hot Texas Summer.
