The PIS setting on the Ferrari F430 or any Ferrari with the F1 transmission for that matter is often not set up correctly. This setting is what determines how close the clutch sits to the flywheel. You don’t want the clutch to kiss the flywheel as then it can wear out too early. But you want it to be as close as possible so that you get better shifting performance and a smoother driving experience. In this video I use my Launch X431 to adjust the PIS setting for the clutch on my Ferrari F430 with the F1 single clutch transmission.
