This video is a step by step DIY guide to removing the transmission out of a Ferrari F430. There are a few special tools needed, but for the most part hand tools are all that are required. It certainly is a lot easier to perform if you have access to a lift, but it’s possible on jack stands or a low lift like a quick jack. Plan on it taking at least a day but more likely 2, and it would be best to have at least 2 people once you are manhandling the transmission out of the car as it is very heavy.
