Josh Hill returns to my garage to dispense more of his wisdom of Ferraris. This time he hooks up his Texa Software to my F430 to check out it’s overall health and gives it his blessing before it departs one last time.

Josh looks into the ignition system of the F430, discussing why Ferraris have historically used 2 separate computers or ignition systems, one for each bank of the motor. This leads to some interesting tips on how to troubleshoot some common problems that can happen such as bad ignition coils or failing O2 sensors.

After checking out the F430, we plug in to my 458 and try to diagnose the active headlight controller error that it currently is experiencing. Unfortunately his computer does not have the headlight adapter module so we were unable to diagnose the problem.

Finally I adjust the headlights on the 458 so they are not pointing so high. I’m pretty sure I was driving around blinding everyone as I was getting high beams flashed at me a lot.
