The “squid” in a Ferrari with a F1 transmission is the hydraulic shift actuator unit that actually shifts the manual transmission. This Ferrari F430 has a bad squid and it needed to be replaced. This typically will cost around $8K plus labor at a Ferrari dealership. I was able to do this for free as we already had the actuator unit from a previous manual conversion.
