Part 17 of the Ferrari 348 DIY Major Engine Out Service. The Ferrari 348 requires the engine to be pulled every 3-5 years or 25,000 miles to replace the timing belts. Usually this also entails replacing many other components such as the tensioners, water pump, bearings, and pulleys. Typically this service starts at around $10,000 at most reputable shops, and can easily cost upwards of $25,000. We are going full bore and replacing almost everything that can wear so the engine will be almost as good as new and give Tim many years of use.
We finally get the Ferrari 348 running, and it SHOOTS FLAMES! Oh, and we upped the rev limiter to 8500 RPM!! This thing is a screaming beast! It sounds absolutely incredible thanks to Josh’s custom X-pipe exhaust. Now Tim can finally go out and drive this incredible Ferrari. 3 months of work come down to this!
