So I had a $5,000 deposit down on a 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera at Carrio Motorcars (VIN ZHWGU43T78LA06320). It would have been a great car for the channel as it had over 111,000 miles and certainly needed some work. However, I was told multiple times that it was in great shape, had no issues, no check engine lights, and would be drivable. So I booked flights for Adam and I, along with hotel rooms so we could go out and pick it up. Well, I called Carrio Motor Cars prior to my flight just to verify everything was OK, and they tell me the transmission no longer is working in the car, and I am heavily pressured to try and buy another Gallardo Superleggera. Well, turns out the other one is NOT a Superleggera, it’s just a Gallardo. So after a heated discussion, I was able to get my deposit wired back to me but I would steer clear of ever doing business with Carrio Motor Cars.
