We were on the hunt for a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera (VIN ZHWGU43T78LA06320) and found one we liked at Carrio Motorcars in Ft. Lauderdale. I had placed a deposit and been assured that the car was completely fine, no check engine lights, no issues, and ready to be driven home. So I booked flights for Adam and I, along with hotel reservations and we were ready to go get it. Then I called them to verify everything was all set, but they inform me the car has transmission issues, and try to convince me to buy another “Superleggera” (VIN ZHWGU12T38LA06752) but it turns out that other car is NOT a Superleggera, it’s a regular Gallardo priced as if it were a Superleggera.

So I did a video about this experience (https://youtu.be/a0jiGzXOwy0) and Carrio Motorcars called me back and here’s how that went. Obviously at this point I’m more pissed off as they try to deny and deflect any responsibility. Their dishonesty shines through as I call him out on repeated lies. I left a lot of the conversation unedited so that you can make your own judgements.

I will suggest however that you should not buy anything from Carrio Motorcars. They seem to be quite dishonest.
