Approximate Cost to Fix: $200

Description of Issue:

The leather straps that hold the tool kit and tire inflator kit broke.  They became brittle over time, and tore right where the straps are held by the buckle.

Resolution if Known:

I purchased new straps from Ricambi America. I was able to punch out the rivets without having to remove the tub completely.  However, it may be required in some cases if you cannot get access.  I documented it on my YouTube Channel. https://youtu.be/FMXCyGcfa9A

You will need a rivet tool and rivets to re-attach the straps to the trunk tub.  I just bought one at Home Depot.
